Scholarships are awarded for academic excellence and the potential for future leadership in the healthcare information and management systems industry. Review criteria are focused on scholarship and demonstration of leadership potential, including communication skills and participation in HIMSS activities.
Scholarship recipients are selected by the HIMSS Foundation Scholarship Review Board. In addition to the cash award, each scholarship includes an all-expense paid trip to the Annual HIMSS Conference and Exhibition.
