The Brian Smith Memorial 499 / 599 Scholarship was established in 1999 by the Waikato Management School
in memory of Professor B V Smith, Director of Undergraduate Studies from 1991 to 1998, and has a value of
$1,500. This Scholarship is open to management students enrolled their 499 or 599 Report of an Investigation,
and is awarded on the basis of academic merit and personal character. Regulations and applications forms are
available from the Scholarships Office website (www.waikato.ac.nz/scholarships)
