The Simpson Grierson Law Scholarship is available to New Zealand citizens or permanent residents who will be enrolled full-time in their penultimate year of an LLB or LLB(Hons) in 2007. This $3,000 Scholarship also includes a summer clerkship with Simpson Grierson (in either Wellington or Auckland) at the end of the year of tenure. Candidates for this Award are asked to write an essay, short story, poem or group of poems, short play or other
work dealing imaginatively with any theme. This $2,000 Prize (administered by the University of Canterbury) is
open to all undergraduates, and graduates of not more than three years’ standing. Regulations and application
forms are in the display racks outside the Scholarships Office, in the ITS Building (which is located at the lake
end of the Gate One car park).

The German Academic Exchange Service offers scholarships annually to New Zealand students for graduate
study in German universities in all academic disciplines. The scholarship provides a monthly allowance and
further study or research payments where appropriate for the tenure of 10 to 24 months. Further information
