The Universität Bern will offer international students Excellence Scholarships for postgraduate study for the academic year 2008/09.
The scholarship consists of 1600 CHF per month for the entire duration of the Master’s programme (Theologische Fakultät, Rechtswissenschaftliche Fakultät, Wirtschafts- und sozialwissenschaftliche Fakultät, Medizinische Fakultät, Vetsuisse Fakultät, Philosophisch-historische Fakultät, Philosophisch-humanwissenschaftliche Fakultät, Philosophisch-naturwissenschaftliche Fakultät, Konferenz gesamtuniversitärer Einheiten). Yoshida Scholarship Foundation was founded through the advocacy of the late Mr. Tadao Yoshida, founder of YKK group of companies, to bring able persons to the nation and society as well as to contribute to society by financially assisting and providing students of excellent nature with equal opportunities of education.
