  • We will invite shortlisted applicants to present a case to a panel of judges.
  • We consider various criteria in awarding the scholarship, including your academic achievements, your capacity to undertake and complete the MBA programme, and relevant professional experience. In particular, we will look at:
    • the quality of the argument presented;
    • evidence of original or independent thought;
    • evidence of your ability to take a strategic/long-term perspective on an issue and relate this to the business community;
    • your understanding of the chosen topic;
    • the relevance of the topic to the academic, vocational and/or other experience that has motivated your desire to study it further;
    • how the MBA programme will advance your future career; and
    • the clarity of your written and oral presentations.
  • Please note that the judges’ decision is final and there will be no feedback or negotiation on awarding decisions.
