The developer of technology programmes have been initiated at the request of the Dutch high-tech industry. High-tech companies need professionals who can design and develop new products and processes and to propose innovative solutions.
The ten programs work closely with the high-tech industry, which offers students the opportunity to participate in large-scale, the design of interdisciplinary projects in industrial circumstances. Thanks to this unique cooperation that we offer our students a valuable network of contacts in the industry. The developer of technology programs clearly meet a significant need for the Dutch high-tech industry as Jacobs Advanced Manufacturing BV, DMV International BV, Xendo, PURAC.
Over the past twenty years, more than 2500 people found jobs and exciting (multi) with national companies, including Philips, Shell, Oce Technologies, TNO, Akzo Nobel,-Dow Chemical, Ericsson, DSM, Vodafone, Unilever, ‘Schiphol Airport, and ASM Lithography. These companies are united in their praise for the quality of design and technology programmes of their graduates and to offer a faster track in their careers.
To ensure their enthusiasm, programs use a rigorous selection process, accepting only the best graduates and young professionals with at least a degree of Master of Science from the University (technological).
Stan Ackermans Institute has ten two-year full-time programs leading to a Ph.D. in Engineering Professional (PDEng). Our programs provide opportunities to expand your knowledge and experience through a personal and practical assignment, under the supervision of design professionals experienced.
You will be appointed for the duration of the programme for a maximum of two years. You can also become a member of the scientific staff of the TU / e, or TU Delft TU Twente and receive a salary.
