University Entrance Scholarships - £ 2,000
Available for students entering studying chemistry in 2008. All participants who have read the offer as an option Firm (CF or UF) by UCAS, and who achieve one of the following sets of qualifications will be awarded scholarships at the University of entry £ 2000.
- A level of ABB, including grades in Grade A and a level of chemistry.
- Equivalent entry qualifications can also be accepted for students in the BI, FB, EB, Scottish Highers, BTEC and Irish leaving certificate, please contact the admissions tutor for more information.
Department of Chemistry Entrance Scholarships - 1000
Available for students entering studying chemistry in 2008, which hold the reading of the tender to choose Firm (CF or UF) through UCAS and who obtain one of the following sets of qualifications will be awarded a Department of Chemistry Scholarship Entry € 1000.
- 320 points fare From 3 levels including the Grade A in chemistry.
- IB equivalent qualifications may be accepted please contact the admissions tutor for more information.
The Department of Chemistry award applies only to a level of skills and qualifications IB.
Some immigrants may be eligible for two awards make a maximum of £ 3000.
- Students must hold reading of the offer that the company (or UF CF).
- The scholarships are granted in a series of instalments over the first year.
- Students who defer entry may not be eligible for scholarships.
Entrance AwardsÂ
All incoming students to read for a degree in the chemistry department in 2008, will receive the package after entry upon registration.
- First year of chemistry textbooks, RRP £ 42.
- Free student members of the Royal Society of Chemistry.
- Laboratory coat and safety goggles.
- No fees or broken bench filing for laboratory work.
- Free E-mail and Internet access.
