POSTDOCTORAL POSITION IN MACHINE LEARNING at Carnegie Mellon University
Start date: September / October 2008

After positions available in the laboratory of human perception (http://humansensing.cs.cmu.edu/) at the Institute of Robotics at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, USA campus.

The position of development and introduction of new machine learning algorithms and computer vision for human health-related projects. Solid experience in mathematical modeling is necessary. There are potential projects in the field of visual training (for example, feature Face Detection), caring for expression analysis, classification temporary human activity mixed data and temporary exclusion segmentation of human behaviour. See http://humansensing.cs.cmu.edu/ for relevant projects. Projects will be fully planned in Matlab. Post-paper will also coordinate the work of several graduate students and visitors all year round.

This is the first year the situation with a possible extension subject to funding. Salary range is $ 40000 – $ 50000 depending on experience.
