PhD positions in Systems and Synthetic Biology
Applications are invited for PhD positions in Systems and Synthetic Biology at the Department of Electrical Engineering at the University of Texas, Dallas. The successful candidates will model, design, experimentally implement and characterize gene networks.
Applicants should have a background in mathematical modeling and simulations. Motivation to carry out experimental research is necessary and experience in standard molecular and mammalian cell biology techniques is an advantage. Candidates will be expected to engage in interdisciplinary research and to foster in-house collaborations with current nanotechnology and biomedical engineering expertise of NSERL.
