Postdoctoral position to study mechanism and role of intracellular trafficking

This position is available at department of Integrative Systems Biology of GWU Medical Center at the Children’s National Medical Center, Washington DC. The department offers a highly collaborative environment with access to state of the art equipments for genomic, proteomic and high resolution cell and animal-imaging approaches.

Candidates must have a PhD degree and should be interested in using advanced cell and tissue imaging approaches to study human diseases. Efficient communication and organizational skills and ability to work efficiently in collaborative research teams are essential. Preference will be given to candidates with hands on experience in – 1) use of advanced live cell and tissue imaging, 2) extracting and culturing lung / glial cells from rodents and 3) using mass spectrometry-based proteomics. Research at Children’s National Medical Center is conducted through Children’s Research Institute (CRI), the academic arm of Children’s National Medical Center.
