SCHOLARSHIPS AND RELATED GRANTS TO STUDY AND DO RESEARCH IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
American Indonesian Exchange Foundation is pleased to announce availability of the 2009-2010 Fulbright Scholarships to study in the United States. Grants are competitive, comprehensive, and generally cover tuition and fees, textbook allowance, monthly maintenance, international airfare and health insurance. All disciplines and fields of study are eligible for a Fulbright award, EXCEPT medical filed in patient care or medical training.
Fulbright Scholarships Program:
The ASEAN Foundation (AF) and the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) have reached an agreement to develop quality human resources in the member countries of ASEAN through the offering of the AF-AIT scholarships. Read more…
Launched in November 2005, the SEARCA PhD Research Scholarship provides financial support to a limited number of qualified PhD students whose researches are relevant to the priority thrusts of SEARCA. Scholars are required to spend two months at SEARCA, located in the Philippines, and present a seminar related to the research. Scholarship support is up to a maximum of US$8,400 per awardee. School of Agriculture, Food Science and Veterinary Medicine, University College Dublin offers a funded postgraduate scholarship to work on a project entitled “Enhancing human health through improved water quality”. This new international educational exchange program enables individuals from Indonesia to study at a Community College in the United States to develop professional skills. Eligible fields are agriculture, Applied Engineering, Business Management and Administration, Health Professions, including Nursing, Information Technology, Media and Tourism and Hospitality Management. Asian Development Bank-Japan Scholarship Program
Funded by the Government of Japan
Qualified citizens of developing member countries of the Asian Development Bank (ADB), who intend to persue postgraduate studies in economics, management, science and technology, and other development-related fields are invented to apply for scholarships under the Asian Development Bank-Japan Scholarship Program. Upon successful completion of the graduate program, the scholars are expected to return to their countries and contribute to its socioeconomic development. Scholar-ships are awarded for graduate studies at designated institutions in courses of study approved by ADB. The Program especially welcomes qualified women applicants who have limited financial means to obtain university education. Read more…
