Nottingham University Business School
The Tourism and Travel Research Institute is offering up to two £1,000 scholarships for applicants who have secured a place on the online MSc Tourism and Travel Management (non-U21 route). Home, EU and overseas candidates will be considered for these bursaries.

The MSc in Islamic Banking & Finance offers a practical insight into the workings of the Islamic system of banking. Islamic banks use a profit-sharing system, since interest is forbidden. However, trade and profits are encouraged and this degree explores the relationships underlying the system.

The Karen Napier Scholarships are generously funded by the Karen Napier Charity in memory of Karen, a graduate of the MSc in Investment Analysis. Each Scholarship will meet the course fees at the Home/EC rate and will offer £3,500 toward maintenance. In addition, the Accounting and Finance Division will waive the remainder of the course fees in the event that a Scholarship is awarded to an overseas fee paying applicant. These Scholarships are funded by the Accounting and Finance Division and meet course fees up to the home/EU rate. This means that the successful candidates will pay no course fees in September 2010 if they are home/EU fee category students. The School of Business and Economics has a limited number of PG scholarships ranging between £1000 and £2000, available to international (non-UK/EU) applicants to the MSc programmes for 2009 entry. In awarding these scholarships, the School will take into account the academic achievements of the individual, maintaining the geographical and cultural diversity that already exists on our programmes as well as addressing cases of genuine need.
