The College Of Liberal Arts Is Providing Scholarship Funds In Support Of Student Experiential Activities In London And Madrid During The Summer Of 2007.
Student Eligibility
The scholarship funds are available to currently enrolled undergraduate students in the College of Liberal Arts at
The University of Texas at Austin.
Experience Eligibility
All activities supported by the scholarship must be a part of the College of Liberal Arts International Internship
Program in London or Madrid. Students must enroll in the program and register for 6 credit hours by completing
an internship and taking one class.
Use of Funds
The scholarship funds may be used to pay the following expenses related to the International Internship Program:
• Tuition
• Resources (books, supplies, etc)
Please Note: Funds used for other expenses are considered taxable income.
Scholarship Funds
The College of Liberal Arts has granted $15,000 to UT Austin students participating in the International Internship
Program; this amount is available through this scholarship program until expended. The minimum scholarship
amount granted to each recipient is $1,000.
Application Requirements
A complete application packet must contain all 3 of the following:
1. Completed application (see attached)
2. Resume
3. Unofficial transcript
Application Deadline
Scholarships will cover London and Madrid activities taking place in Summer 2007.
Applications must be submitted to the attention of Dr. Kate Brooks at Liberal Arts Career Services, FAC 18, by 5:00
pm. Applications may be hand delivered to FAC 18 or mailed (received at Liberal Arts Career Services by March 1)
