Postgraduate Research Scholarships
Adelaide Graduate Fee Scholarships (AGFS)
AGFS Scholarships are available to eligible candidates to undertake a higher degree by research at the University of Adelaide. Eligible candidates must be currently enrolled at the University of Adelaide or have completed a program at the University in 2006 and met the entry requirements for admission into a research program (Masters by Research or Doctor of Philosophy) to commence in February 2008.
Currently enrolled Masters by Research students who have completed and submitted their thesis and who are eligible to commence a PhD in February 2008 may apply for an Adelaide Graduate Fee Scholarship. However, currently enrolled PhD students are not eligible to apply (see the Conditions of the Award (pdf 42kB)).
Approximately 15 AGFS Scholarships may be available for international students from any country to undertake postgraduate research at the University in 2008. Benefits are payment of full tuition fees for the normal duration of the program; the scholarship does not provide a living allowance or OSHC allowance.
Successful AGFS awardees must commence their research program in February 2008.
For more information please download the Conditions of the Award (pdf 42kB).
To apply, fill out and submit two copies of the AGFS Application Form (pdf 98kB) to the International Office, Level 5, Oliphant Building, on or before 31 October 2007. You must also forward AGFS Referee Report Forms (pdf 77kB) to two referees, who will then complete your reference and submit the form directly to the International Office. Please ensure you send your Referee Report Forms well before the due date of 31 October 2007 so your referees have plenty of time to complete and submit the forms.
Please note! The closing date has been extended; late applications will be accepted by 5:00pm Friday, 16 November 2007.
