Full or part tuition scholarships to undertake full-time postgraduate studies in a Master of Water Resources Management programme are available for the July 2007 intake. This scholarship programme offers to attract high quality international students to education and training in water resources management, delivered by ICE WaRM partner institutions.<br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The ICE WaRM Scholarship Programme aims to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>provide high calibre      students with the opportunity to study with ICE WaRM partners to further      their knowledge;<\/li>\n<li>provide students with the opportunity to participate in research and advance their scientific knowledge in water resources management;<\/li>\n<li>encourage the exchange of      ideas on best practice within water-related fields;<\/li>\n<li>provide students with the opportunity to participate in presentations, conferences, seminars and forums on contemporary issues in water resources management;<\/li>\n<li>provide the opportunity for students from organisations and countries currently facing major water issues to participate in programmes which they may not be able to fund; and<\/li>\n<li>demonstrate a commitment to cultural change and diversity and the international sharing of knowledge and skills related to water resources management.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Field of study<\/strong><br \/>\nThis scholarship is available for courses on the following fields of study:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Land and Marine Resources, Animal Husbandry<\/li>\n<li>Engineering, Surveying<\/li>\n<li>Health, Community Services<\/li>\n<li>Science<\/li>\n<li>Life Sciences<\/li>\n<li>Physical Sciences<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>ENTRY REQUIREMENTS, PROGRAMME INFORMATION AND PARTNER UNIVERSITY WEBLINKS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We recommend that you visit the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.icewarm.com.au\/page.php?pId=173\" title=\"Postgraduate programme\" target=\"_blank\">Post-Graduate Programmes<\/a> page of the website to find out more about the programme.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Semester 1 (February) &#8211; Deadline <strong>22nd September<\/strong> of the previous year<\/li>\n<li>Semester 2 (July) &#8211; Deadline 22nd March of the same year<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>ICE WaRM offers two rounds of scholarships annually, in February and July. Applicants are able to begin applying for current or future rounds at any time. The current round (Semester 1 &#8211; February 2008) has a deadline of September 22, 2007. However applicants can begin applying for future rounds at any time, ie. Semester 2, 2008 or Semester 1, 2009 (see deadlines above).<\/p>\n<p><strong>How do I Apply?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Complete the online registration form below to gain access to the relevant application forms. Once you press &#8220;submit&#8221; you will see a webpage with links to 3 documents:<br \/>\n&#8211; Scholarship Guidelines<br \/>\n&#8211; Scholarship Application Form<br \/>\n&#8211; Scholarships Confidential Referee Report<\/li>\n<li>Print and\/or save these files. You will also receive an automatic email acknowledgement with a direct link to the application forms.<\/li>\n<li>Complete the Scholarship Application Form and send to ICE WaRM with relevant documentation by the deadline.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>NOTES<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>ICE WaRM will acknowledge receipt of all applications and advise if any documents are outstanding.<\/li>\n<li>Completion of the online registration form allows ICE WaRM to monitor interest in the scholarship programme and remind applicants of closing dates.<\/li>\n<li>Any applications that are incomplete by the application deadline will not be eligible for consideration.<\/li>\n<li>Hard copy documents (transcripts, parchments, passports\/birth certificates) must be original or certified copies &#8211; uncertified photocopies will not be accepted.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Scholarship Funding<\/strong><br \/>\nICE WaRM offers full and partial scholarships which cover the cost of the programme (fee tuition).
