CADS-INTEL Computer Security Fellowship<\/p>\n
Status:
\nBeginning December 1st
\n20+ hrs\/week \u00e2\u20ac\u201c irregular hours<\/p>\n
Location:
\nRochester Institute for Technology (most positions) or Washington, DC (few positions)<\/p>\n
Compensation:
\n$5,000 \/ academic year (minimum \u00e2\u20ac\u201c possibly higher based on qualifications)
\n
\nDuties
\nQualified individual will be responsible for the following, in addition to any other duties which may arise:<\/p>\n
\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2 Codification of existing Web Service threats
\n\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2 Testing exploits
\n\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2 Identifying and testing new threats<\/p>\n
Skills
\nQualified individual will be knowledgeable and have experience with the following skill sets:<\/p>\n
\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2 Web Services: .Net, XML, SOAP, WSDL
\n\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2 Security concepts
\n\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2 Familiarity with Web threat classes (http:\/\/www.webappsec.org\/projects\/threat\/)
\n\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2 Basic understating of REgEX and Pattern matching techniques<\/p>\n
Qualifications
\nThis is a very competitive program and while it is expected that the majority of the applicants will be Graduate Students studying Computer Science, Undergraduate and Graduate students of any major who have the desired skills may apply. Preferences will be given to those most qualified regardless of educational status.<\/p>\n
