The University of Trento (Italy), the RWTH Aachen University (Germany), and the University of Edinburgh (Scotland) offer a two year Joint Master`s Programme, named European Master in Informatics (EuMI, www.eumi-school.org). The student admitted to a selected curriculum will study in two universities, taking courses with a focus on the selected area of specialization. The student will spend half of his\/her Master`s course in one university and the other half in the other university.<\/p>\n Funding<\/strong> The amount of the scholarship is \u00e2\u201a\u00ac 21.000 per year. In addition, 5 scholarships will be assigned to students resident in European Uni0n countries. \nThe objective of the Master`s Programme<\/strong> is to educate professionals who will understand advanced techniques, tools, and methodologies in the field of Computer Science<\/strong>, and who will be able to put this knowledge to practice in the key application domains of Net-Centric\/Media Informatics, Life Science Informatics, and Embedded Systems Informatics. For each area of specialization, a joint curriculum is defined which involves two universities of the Consortium.<\/p>\n
\n20 scholarships will be offered for students who are residents of countries outside the European Uni0n, the European Economic Area \/ European Free Trade Association (Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway) and the candidate countries for accession to the European Uni0n (Bulgaria, Croatia, Romania, and Turkey).<\/p>\n
\nThe application requires two steps: An on-line application (due by January 14th, 2008<\/strong>) and the hard-copy submission of documents (due by January 21th, 2008).<\/p>\n
