Applications are invited for Graduate Teaching Assistantships at the University of Salford<\/strong>, based in one of its nine Research Institutes. There are 16 scholarships available, starting in October 2008.Graduate Teaching Assistantships<\/strong> offer students the opportunity to study for a PhD while undertaking teaching duties in areas usually related to their PhD research.<\/p>\n

Successful candidates will work under the direction of an academic staff member on a range of teaching activities, up to 180 hours over the academic year (based on an average of six hours each week).<\/p>\n

The scholarships are worth \u00c2\u00a312,940 per year (2008-9 levels) over three years and are available to international students.<\/p>\n
